Traction

Mingalaba, Family!

Thank you for your prayers. We arrived safely in Yangon in the middle of the night, greeted by smiley faces. Everyone is eager to help us get settled. It is a hard shift transition to a new time zone, but we’re up and at ‘em in the morning to spend the day with the kids at Hope Boarding School. Fried rice for breakfast is the best! :)

We got to meet our sponsored children in person. You can’t help but LOVE these kids! We got to play street games like hop-scotch, sidewalk chalk, limbo, soccer, tennis balls, and jump rope. Plates and plates of fresh fruit, snacks, savory/sweet/spicy dishes are spread before us to graze on. We are well loved on here.

Today is another day at the boarding school, prepping and fine tuning for the Christian Convention. We leave tomorrow for the northwestern part of Myanmar. Pray for those coming and teaching that the Word of the LORD would not return void. Jesus is LORD of our lives!
